Itinerary
Arrive, Kathmandu airport where our airport representative will meet and assist you then after before going to your hotel you can visit our office and you will be briefed about your tour in Nepal with us.
There are no activities planned for this day. You are free to explore surrounding picturesque town on your own.
After breakfast in the morning we will get ready for sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley. This day we will visit Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square..
Pashupatinath:
At first, we will visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Temple dedicated to lord Shiva where people cremate dead body here at the bank of holy river Bagmati. Only Hindus are allowed to enter in to the main Temple and it is very popular world heritage site in Kathmandu.
Swoyambhunath:
Then after, we will visit Swoyambhunath to witness worshippers, pilgrims and rituals of monk. It is also known as monkey temple. It lies south west of Kathmandu valley situated at the hilltop overlooking the Kathmandu valley.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Kathmandu Durbar Square which is one of the world heritage site and occupies different Temples, Palaces and Courtyard. It is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Square. It was built in 12th and 18th Century as a palace of ancient Malla King.It is urban focal and religious point of city and there are 3 museums which can be visited.
Today we will visit natural and cultural sites.
Pharping: It lies to the south part of Kathmandu valley with religious and cultural value.
Dakshinkali: Via. Pharping it lies 22 KM far from Kathmandu. Six arm form of Kali the main Goddess of the Temple, a black stone. Especially Tuesday and Saturday people sacrifice animals specially goat and chicken.
Patan Durbar Square: This place is also known as city of fine arts. It is a palace decorated with beautiful Pagoda Temples and artist courtyard. There is a museum containing religious objectives and bronze Statues. We can also cover handicraft center and Tibetan Refugee camp. Made in 17th Century there is noticeable Temple dedicated to lord Krishna, made by stone.
Bouddha: Among worlds Buddhist Stupa, Buddhanath is located only 3 km from city center. With the history back to 5th Century, Lichhivi King Mandev built this Sputa. It is 4 shaped and 8 angled structures and people turns prayer wheel around the base of this shrine.
Changunarayan: It is located at countryside of Bhaktapur. It was built in 323 AD by king Haridutta Verma, which is richly decorated with carvings and sculptures. It is a temple dedicated to lord Vishnu and the building is under pagoda architecture.
After sightseeing we will drive to Nagarkot.
Nagarkot:We will drive to Nagarkot, which will take almost 40 minute. Along with sunset from Nagarkot we can enjoy panoramic view of Everest, Langtang and Annapurna Mountain range.
From your hotel balcony you can witness gorgeous Himalayan sunrise. From west Dhaulagiri to East Kanchangunja the view is superb. Nagarkot is considered as best place for Himalayan view. You can also take a glimpse of Mt. Everest.
Then after we will drive back to Kathma
ndu with Bhaktapur sightseeing. Evening we will have farewell dinner in typical Nepali Restaurant with Live cultural Show.
Bhaktapur: This is a show piece of art and architecture with charming beauty. The main center (Square) contains innumerable Temples, and other showpiece of architecture, the statue of King Bhupatinndra malla, Lion Gate, Dattatreya Square Picture Gallery and Bhairabnath Temple.
