The 9-day Pikey Peak Trek is one of Nepal’s most scenic off-the-beaten-path treks, famous for delivering awe-inspiring Himalayan views with minimal crowds. Rising to 4,065 meters, Pikey Peak is known as one of Sir Edmund Hillary’s favorite vantage points to view Mount Everest.
The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dhap and follows a trail through dense Rhododendron forests, local Sherpa settlements, and ancient monasteries. Trekking along quiet trails, visitors can experience Tibetan Buddhist culture, traditional mountain lifestyle, and warm hospitality in local teahouses. The Cost Includes
- Accommodation: Twin-sharing or double accommodation in Kathmandu for 2 nights in a 3-star hotel with breakfast; twin-sharing or dormitory-style guesthouses during the trek for 6 nights.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the trek including seasonal fruits; farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
- Transportation: All airport transfers (international and domestic), tourist bus or private jeep from Kathmandu to Dhap and back.
- Guide & Staff: Licensed, experienced, English-speaking trekking guide; porter service (1 porter per 2 trekkers) carrying your duffel bag.
- Permits: Sagarmatha National Park Permit, TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card.
